Assist Training
Assist was founded in 1993 in the Tait Business Centre,Dominic St, Limerick. We are one of the foremost approved training centres in the mid-west region. For the last decade Assist Training has been training individuals from all walks of life for new and exciting computer careers. The company has also branched into other areas of business namely accounting consultancy, Health & Safety Training and Softskills development.
In 2003 Assist relocated to 24, Barrington Street, Limerick.
The mission of Assist Training & Consultancy is to provide the highest possible standards of Information Technology training and services using leading edge technology and highly qualified trainers and staff to meet the specific training requirements of all our valued customers.
Computer Training Specialists:
At Assist Training our core business is concerned with the delivery of innovative and highly functional IT Training programmes. We offer a wide spectrum of courses to cater for individuals at all levels from the complete beginners stage right through to advanced levels. Since our inception we have been training people all across the length & breath of the country using software packages such as Microsoft Office suite, Lotus SmartSuite, Sage products (TAS Books), Adobe, Dreamweaver, AutoCAD, Visual Basic C++.
Health & Safety Training:
Health & Safety legislation is applicable to all regardless or size of enterprise. The primary aim of the legislation is to prevent accidents and/or ill health at the workplaces. Employers are required to provide safe places and systems of work and to assess and evaluate risks to which employees are exposed.
A written Safety Statement has to be drawn up and must include an evaluation of risks and the steps taken to minimise these risks. We work in partnership with you to create a solution, training programmes are co-ordinated with your management and health & safety representatives to assess requirements and recommend the correct health & safety strategy. We offer Manual Handling Training and Manual Handling Instructor Training.
Assist Chartered Accountants
Our outsourced accounting service enables clients to focus on their core business. We can handle all or part of the in-house accounting functions, depending on your requirements. This frees up valuable resources, allowing better focus on the development and expansion of your business.
Assist Accountancy Services also provide a range of finance-related courses inculding Finance for Non-Finance Managers and Understanding Basic Accounting. Our courses are designed to develop a better understanding of a company's financial statements and to facilitate the interpretation of results and performance against financial targets.
The Payroll Bureau Service ensures you remain up-to-date with current legislation and tax changes. We offer a monthly payroll report, printed payslips, P45s generation and filing where required, paypath file and year end reports for p35 and p60. This service offers confidentiality, peace of mind and frees up staff resources to focus on more important matters affecting the business.
