Safe Handling and Movement of Materials at Work (1 day)
Course Objectives:
To train in risk assessment of loads, safe lifting practice and legal
implication for employers/employees
To provide background knowledge of factors affecting safety during manual handling of materials in the workplace
The participant will be able to assess and move loads safely in the workplace
Prerequisites:
Site visit where feasible
Access to Safety Statement/Safety Personnel to review areas of high risks
relevant to them
