Presentation Skills
Course Programme:
This course is carried out over a one-day workshop, which incorporates the following agenda. This course is suited to any staff member who presents to either internal or external customers.
- Introduction
- Preparation - from a business and personal perspective
- Knowing the needs of the customer - keeping the presentation to the real needs and not what you really want to sell
- Voice control - how to project and not raise your voice so you can be heard by all attendees no matter the size of room
- Work tools - what do we need to arrange prior to the arrival of the client to the needs of the room including layout/paperwork/business cards etc
- The presentation - introduction through to time scales
- How to present points - have them listened to and to encourage interaction between those attending How to bring your group back if you feel they are drifting
- Dealing with awkward questions and difficult people
- Knowing and identifying that you are dealing with the decision makers
- Wrap up including question time on completion of your presentation - encouraging time scales to sign off on your sale or in arranging further meetings
- Project workshops and practical demonstrations - each attendee will be making a presentation to the group
- Group discussion followed by question time and setting objectives
